What Does GREENSL® Accreditation Mean?
GREENSL® Accreditation is the premier national professional certification awarded by the Green Building Council Sri Lanka (GBCSL). It formally validates that an architect, engineer, quantity surveyor, or built environment specialist possesses proven competence in sustainable architectural design, energy simulation modeling, climate-resilient engineering, and environmental rating system compliance.
As Sri Lanka accelerates its transition toward net-zero building regulations and sustainable urbanization, property developers, government authorities, and corporate clients actively require GREENSL® Accredited Professionals (AccP) to guide projects through certification.
National Credential
Recognized by state bodies, urban development authorities, real estate boards, and international green councils.
Project Leadership
Authorized to act as lead AP on GRS building rating applications and GLS green product evaluations.
Career Advancement
Unlocks high-value consulting opportunities, higher fee brackets, and leadership in corporate ESG initiatives.
Public Registry Listing
Awarded an official AccP license number, physical stamp, and entry in the public GBCSL Professionals Directory.
Who Should Pursue GREENSL® Accreditation?
Architects, Civil & MEP Engineers, Quantity Surveyors (QS), Town Planners, Project Managers, Facility Directors, and Environmental Consultants.
